This is what I’m alllllll about: eating good food to fuel great workouts! Case in point, savory oats and another go of TRX bootcamp.
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup liquid - I do 50/50 water and almond milk
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
Huge handful of greens
Additional healthy toppings
Add all oats, liquid, and all spices to a small pan and bring to a boil. Turn down, stirring until desired consistency is reached. Add greens a minute or two before desired consistency to wilt. I enjoy adding cherry tomatoes and a dollop of hummus or baba-ganoush (pictured).
At bootcamp, we did 30 second drills of a variety of moves. We paired three or four moves together, and would repeat a circuit three times, only resetting between new circuits. Fun!
